New icons in the next media composer v.3
Next month Avid will launch there version 3 of the Media composer, Some of the changes there will be is the change of the little weight lifter icon, also called lift and extract-

Need more space for editing
If you need more high performance storage, Avid has now announced two brand new storage solutions, they are called VideoRAID ST and VideoRAID SR.They are SATA- based and offer a maximum of flexibility, they are available in a 5 drive mini tower (called ST) and a 16 drive 3 unit rackmount (called SR)
