Media Composer v.3.5 new without dongle

Finally finaly Avid has done what we have been asking for, they have made it Dongle free,
the newest update to version 3.5 is working without the dongle, you simply activate it online, and the best part is that you ahve a 14 days trial.
They also added 3D format support (Stereoscope editing)
Key frameable color correctiong (I´m looking forward to play with that)
Avid Media Access Architecture, wich let you link clips from a third party devices like P2 or XDCAM, without transcoding.
A new fluid stabilizer feature, and a lot of other great stuff.

You can read more about it here: Avid Media Composer v.3.5

VideoGuys.com puts Media Composer as the best product of the year

over at Videoguys.com they once a year celebrate the 10 best products of the year, you can see the list at http://www.videoguys.com/2008best.htm
The winner this time is Avid Media Composer v.3
The reason for this (according to Videoguys.com) is that no other product has made a bigger impact, and with this product Avid send out a message to the industry that they are back in the game, and want to stay at the top for the best editor on the planet (at least this planet).
