New Media Composer v. 5.5

New Media composer 5.5 out soon, Avid has now added more hardware support, and other new things, like:

  • Support for AJA Io Express so you can capture and monitor.
  • Capture and monito using pro tools hardware
  • New transitions tool, that enables you to change the dissolve legit by dragging in the timeline
  • modification to the smart tool, so it is easier to turn on/off
  • Support for Euphonics controllers

NAB 2010 rumors from panasonic

The rumors from Panasonic here before NAB is that they will be releasing some new cameras.

They will release a competition to the still camera Canon 5D which many use for video.
A new AG-HPX3100 wich is a follow from the AG-HPX3000.
there should also be some new 3D products.
A shoulder cam with a 1/3 inch full HD chip that can record in AVC-intra 50 and 100 Mbit and will cost around 13000 us dollars
